beat 172 - unobstructed
"I smoked for many many years, 25 years. I started little by little and then I was a full smoker. One day two and a half years ago I stopped, not because the doctor told me, no one told me, I just stopped. Then one day I am at work and I get this hot, burning feeling in my chest. My heart got hot. 75% blockage to my heart. I will never smoke again in my life. Today I feel great. Very strong, I do my exercises every day. I feel stronger than ever before. Better than ever.
I suggest no one ever smokes, it's the worst, worst thing. The heart is everything. The smoking kills it."

"My heart is loving, warm and courteous. Every day of my life is a lesson for my heart. I work with people nonstop, I see it all, I see all the characters of the world. My heart feels good when people are good. My heart feels great when people are great."

beat 170 - up
"My heart is full. I bet you hear that all the time though. But mine is. I have 3 beautiful daughters, 5 beautiful granddaughters, 1 gorgeous grandson and 6 great grandsons. The story of my grandson and his soon-to-be wife is like a great fairytale. I'm 87 years old, I've seen a lot of love in my life. I have a husband that's 90, we've been married for 63 years, through thick and thin, ups and downs, mostly ups, but yes, there have been downs. The fairytale of Scot is a great one and I hope he has more ups than even I had."

"They say you can learn a lot about a man from his shoes. I believe that it's also a way into a man's heart. My girlfriend bought me these Y-3's, I wear them and think of her and my heart feels real good. And I look damn good too."

beat 165 - myocardial infarction
"My heart is not so good. I've had three heart attacks. The first one I had they screwed up, they put something wrong, I was four hours without my right side working. So i have damage on my right side. The heart doesn't pump very well to my hands or feet. I'm on a lot of medications. But I feel good. I feel strong. I still do things I'm not supposed to do. I pretend like it never happened. I do what I want to do, you gotta keep livin'."

"Aside from being full of love for my kids and family and life, my heart is positive. Did I ever expect life to be this good? Well, I believe you have to expect it to be good, you have to be positive. If you think life is going to stink, it will stink. My heart is positive and full of love."
